AS: Year 12 Course summary:

Unit 1 Performance Workshop 24% (practical exam)

• A performance of an extract of a play in a chosen style containing some original scenes devised by the students.
• A written evaluation of the performance.

Unit 2

• Text in theatre 16% (written exam)
• A series of questions based on one set play.

A Level: Year 13 Course summary:

Unit 3

• Working text 36% (practical exam)
• Two performances in contrasting styles - one written by the students and the other an extract from a published play.
• A written report on the process and an evaluation of the performance.

Unit 4

• Text in performance 24% (written exam)
• Two essays based on two set plays.
