‘Are you ready to learn?’

• Are you ready to use the Welsh language?
• Do you have your stationery/books/kit ready?
• Have you removed your coat?
• Is your school uniform neat and tidy (shirt in, tie up)?
• Have you had plenty of good-quality sleep?
• Have you eaten the correct food (breakfast/lunch)?
• Have you drunk enough water?
• Are you ready to face a challenge, and to think independently

Are you read to learn?

During the lesson I will:

• Communicate in Welsh
• Treat every individual with respect and courtesy
• Listen carefully
• Work to the best of my ability on every task
• Work with the teacher and my fellow pupils
• Take on each challenge, persevere with difficult tasks and show pertinacity when faced with problems?

I will not ask to use the toilet as I understand that this will disrupt the flow of the lesson, and will have an adverse affect on my education and on the education of other pupils.
