We are committed to supporting pupils with a wide range of additional learning needs. We firmly believe in equality of educational opportunity for all students. The primary objective is for all students with additional learning needs to enjoy equal access to all areas of the curriculum. Our pupils are supported through a person-centred approach where we develop holistic individual development plans, incorporating specific academic and therapeutic interventions. Our aim is to provide necessary education and support so that all pupils have the ability to succeed independently and make a valuable contribution to both our school and the communities in which they live.

 

Provision for pupils who have additional learning needs is very effective and enables these pupils to make good progress. Parents and pupils have a valuable input into the individual education plans. They include a great deal of useful information and strategies in order to meet pupils’ learning needs. ”.
