Defnydddir CA3 i feithryn sgiliau fydd angen ar y disgyblion i allu cwblhau gwaith ymarferol o safon uchel wrth iddynt ddilyn Dylunio a Thechnoleg yn ystod CA4 a 5.
Mae'r adran yn hysbys i'r ffaith fod llawer o beiriannau yn cael eu defnyddio yn y byd tu allan i'r ysgol, ac felly fe fydd y disgyblion yn defnyddio offer trydanol ar pob achlysur sy'n addas.
Mae rheolau diogelwch yn bwysig iawn wrth weithio yn y gweithdai ac fe ddylai'r disgyblion ddarllen a dysgu'r rhain trwy ddarllen y posteri sydd o gwmpas y gweithdai.
KS3 is used to develop skills that the pupils will require in order to complete work of the highest standard during their coursework at KS4 and 5.
The department is fully aware that many types of machines are used in the industrial world, therefore, the pupils will be encouraged to use electrical equipment at every suitable opportunity.
Health and Safety rules are vitally important in order to work safely in the workshops. The pupils should learn these rules by reading the posters which are situated in the workshops.
